To expand the international horizon and promote the literacy of UIBE’s MPA students, School of Public Administration and the Faculty of Arts, Design and Social Sciences of Northumbria University decided to launch public management summer seminar.
Northumbria University is one of the largest universities in the UK with excellent teaching quality. Established in 1870, its predecessor is Rutherford Engineering College, locating in Newcastle upon Tyne.

Project Location: Faculty of Arts, Design and Social Sciences, Northumbria University
Seminar Arrangement: 21st July-26th, Newcastle; 27th July-29th July, London
Northumbria University will also arrange visits to London downtown for students of the seminar.
Intended Enrollment: 20
Due to the limited class size, students will be admitted based on the registration order.

Project Cost: 12000-14000 yuan/person (including the tuition fee and accommodation fee in Northumbria University), and international flight tickets, visa fees and other expenses are not included. The cost will be finalized when the itinerary is confirmed. Students can either cook by themselves or have meals in the cafeteria (the cost is relatively reasonable).
Project Requirement: All the MPA students taking part in this project should submit a research report which can help them to exempt from the social practice class with 2 credits.
